The arch, back wall and chimney base are started

Wysing anagama as originally built, with a bisc chamber between the back of the main chamber and the chimney.

The old chimney and bisc chamber were cleared.

Foundations and former in place.

The firebox grate is built into the arch and bag wall base. The chimney flue is keyed into the new arch and chimny base and the firebox stoke holes are positioned before the front wall is finally constructed.

Brickwork and chimney complete. Chamber and flue are covered in an insulation mix. (see technical page: recipes.
